PGA appoints Pure Sports Marketing

The PGA Midland Region has appointed Pure Sports Marketing to handle its press and marketing communications.

As experts in creating effective marketing campaigns and sustaining positive PR within the sports industry, East Midlands-based Pure Sports will be responsible for all the PGA Midland Regions media communications including the all important role as its official press office.

Working closely with Regional Secretary Jon Sewell, the specialist sports marketing agency will not only assist the PGA maximize exposure for its members but also re-engage the public with the PGA, throughout the region.

With a full schedule of events for the 2010 season including the Glazerite Trophy, PTS Invitational, Farmfoods British Par 3 Championship, Mark Group Midland Open, Fineturf Midland Pros Championships and the PDF Midland Masters, all of which form part of the Midland Region’s Order of Merit, the PGA certainly has plenty to shout about.

Jon Sewell, Regional Secretary for the Midland’s PGA, said: “We are delighted to forge this closer relationship with Pure Sports Marketing.

“We have known Darren Phillips and his PSM team for a number of years as they have already delivered sponsorship for the region. We feel they are the right partner to assist us to drive the profile of the PGA in the Midlands region”.
